Root & Branch Landscapes respects your privacy. This policy describes what this website actually does with your information, nothing more and nothing less. The short version: we only collect what you type into our contact form, we use it to reply to you about your project, and we do not run ads, trackers, or analytics on the public site.

What We Collect

When you send us a message through the contact form, we collect what you enter: your first and last name, email address, and optionally your phone number, project location, which service interests you, how you heard about us, and your message. We also record that you accepted our terms and the date and time you submitted the form. Browsing the site does not require an account, and we do not collect anything about you just for visiting.

How We Use It

We use your form submission for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry and follow up about your landscape project. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who Handles Your Information

A few trusted service providers process your form submission so we can receive and answer it:

  • Supabase stores your submission in our secure database so we can review and respond to it.
  • Resend sends us an email notification containing the details you submitted, so we see your message right away.
  • Our customer management system may also receive a copy of your submission when one is connected, so we can track our conversation with you in one place.

The site itself is hosted on Vercel, and our fonts load from Adobe Fonts. Like any web host, these services receive standard technical information your browser sends when it requests a page, such as your IP address. We may also disclose information when required by law. Beyond that, we do not share your details with anyone.

How Long We Keep It

We keep form submissions in our database until we delete them, either as part of routine cleanup or because you ask us to. There is no automatic expiration, so if you would like your information removed, just tell us and we will delete it.

Your Choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have shared with us at any time. Email us at the address below and we will take care of it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.

Cookies, Analytics, and Local Storage

The public pages of this site set no cookies and run no analytics or tracking scripts. Two small exceptions worth knowing about:

  • Accessibility preferences. If you adjust settings in our accessibility widget, such as text size or contrast, your choices are saved in your own browser's local storage under the key rootnbranch-a11y so they stick between visits. That information stays on your device and is never sent to us.
  • Admin sign-in. Our team's private admin area uses secure authentication cookies from Supabase to keep team members signed in. These only apply if you log in to the admin area, which visitors cannot do.
